*** Poultry Nasal Flushing Recipe & How To ***

*** FOR USE ***
With poultry, to help with constant sneezing, nasal infections & swollen eyes.

*** RECIPE ***

In a tub or other suitable container...., Mix:
1. 3 Teaspoons of salt
2. 1 Teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
3. 1 pint of sterilised water

*** INSTRUCTIONS ***
1. Mix solution fresh daily
2. Draw up into a syringe
3. If possible use a nasal nozzle attachment
4. Head down and over the sink, ground or a bucket
5. Press the syringe plunger squirting solution into nose
6. Try and keep beak open to allow excess solution to drain out, make sure they do not swallow
7. Repeat 2/3 times and do 2-4 times daily

*** Tips ***
1. Carry out daily for 1 week, 2 if necessary
2. Carry on giving a anti-histamine tablet or oral solution (once a day)

*** Aims ***
1. To wash mucus and crusts out of the nose
2. De-congests the nasal cavity
3. The bicarbonate of soda makes the solution alkaline which helps to fight any infection
